The formula to find the area of a rectangle is length * width.

Dimension of one garden is 3.67 feet by 8.56 feet.

So, area of first garden = 3.67 ⋅ 8.56 square feet.

Similarly area of second garden = 3.67 ⋅ 7.45 square feet.

Therefore, total area of the two gardens = 3.67 ⋅ 8.56 + 3.67 ⋅ 7.45

= 3.67(8.56 + 7.45) By taking out the common factor 3.67.

Hence, from the above result we observe that choice A and B are not the correct choice . Because it's represent the total area in square feet of the two gardens.

But we cannot represent the total area in square feet of the two gardens as given in choice C and D.

So, C and D are the correct choice.

Hope this helps you!.
