Reuben is making a replica of the US flag for his school project

He uses a scale of 0.5 centimeters to 1 inch to drawl a flag. The length of the scale drawling is 2.5 centimeters, and its width is 4.75 centimeters

What is the perimeter of the scale and what is the perimeter of the actual flag?????

Given:
U.S Flag - rectangle in shape
scale of 0.5 cm = 1 in
length of the scale 2.5 cm
width of the scale 4.75 cm

perimeter of the scale = 2(L+W) = 2(2.5+4.75) = 2(7.25) = 14.5cm

perimeter of the actual flag is:
14.5cm * 1in/0.5cm = 29 inches.
