Iron, guns and cloths were goods exchanged for African slaves. These goods were exchanged for enslaved Africans, who were shipped across the Atlantic Ocean to north and south America and the Caribbean where they set to work on the plantations which constituted large areas of land owned by Europeans colonist where crops were grown.

Other goods were cotton and brass pans.
