xsquared+(x+1)squared=41
xsquared+(x+1)(x+1)=41
xsquared+xsquared+2x+1=41
2xsquared+2x+1=41
2squared+2x=40
xsquared+x=20
then, try 1,2, 3 and it works for 4, so the numbers are 4 & 5

The sum of the squares of two consecutive integers is 41. Find the integers.
