Pollution is a serious problem. It adds to the greenhouse effect by blocking up the atmosphere. C02 from  factories and cars float up to the atmosphere and create a thick, heavy veil that keeps warmth from leaving the planet. They catch that heat and keep the planet from cooling itself down.
