was a railroad worker in Communist Poland who went into a coma in 1988 after getting hit by a train. When he woke up in 2007, after 19 years in a coma, the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact had been overthrown, food rationing had ended, and Poles everywhere were walking around with mobile phones. Since a coma is a state of unconsciousness without wakefulness, Grzebski's 19 years in a coma certainly counts as sleep.
