what is the difference between a journal written by an eyewitness to an event and a play written about the same event?

When a eyewitness journals an event, it is first-hand information, but when a play is written it is based on other information. The eyewitnesses information is usually more accurate.

the eye witness may exadurate a lot and a play may have studied it they will go baced off the movvvvvie or vvvviedo
