Find the degree, leading term, and leading coefficient.
Polynomial Degree: 1
Leading Term: -4x
Leading Coefficient: -4

But for the variable all I can remember is that the variable alone is:

Coefficients are the numarical value infrony of a variable. For this equation the coefficient would be -4.
