Migratory behaviors, such as the particular routes animals use, are said to be instictive. This type of behaviour is also called innate which means that animals perform particular action pattern that is essential for their being. Here are some examples to make it absolutely clear : when animal is shaking water from wet fur, when the spider makes a net, when a bear hibernate. All this behaviours are not learned they just come naturally so that animal will accustom to its environment.
