A soup recipe calls for 2 3/4 quarts of vegetable broth.An open can of broth contains 1/2 quart of broth.How much more do you need to make the soup?

1 1/4 because u need 2 3/4 and there is 1/2 in a quart so 1/2 equals 1 so 1 plus 1 equals two so u need 3
