Why might diseases transmitted by vectors be harder to control than those transmitted by other means?

A vector disease is transmitted by things such as mosquiotos , monkeys, people, microorganisims, without killing off the species that transmits it ,it will spread faster. Other transmitted diseases you can take precaution, say an airborn illness you can wear masks isolate the sick person. water disease don't drink the water. did I explain well enough hope I helped
