What happens to the coordinates when you reflect them over the x axis

The x values stay the same but the y values change to their opposites.
For example: (2,4) reflected across the x-axis would be (2, -4)
and (6, -3) reflected across the x-axis would be (6, 3)

Answer:

When the shape reflects about the x-axis, the x-coordinate is unchanged but the y-coordinate becomes negative. When the shape reflects about the y-axis, the y-coordinate is unchanged but the x-coordinate becomes negative.
