8(x+3)
In this form, it is fully factored. All you need is a GCF, which is 8.

ab+ac=a(b+c)
a is common factor
factor each
8x=2*2*2*x
24=2*2*2*3
common factor is 2*2*2 or 8
8x+24=
8(x)+8(3)=
8(x+3)
