What are two factors that prompted thousands of Jews to settle in Palestine immediately after World War II?

Answer:

After the WW II Jews were immigrating to other countries where they found themselves secure. They were promised by Allied to give a place where they could all live together and create the State of Israel. When the war was over, Jews who were rescued from the concentration camps were sent to Palestine to settle. The Jews community around the world saw it as an opportunity to go to Palestine and settle down among their community with unity and no fear of throwing out of their host countries.
