thanks so much like i was looking, for this ,one for a LONG time and couldn't fine it. what so ever so thanks so, much ,and, all she wanted to know if it was ONE Solution or if it was not a Solution, like u could have just said yes, or no like for real ?? but u just helped me so thanks........

-2(3x - 4) distributes to become -6x + 8
Thus, it is easy to tell it is false:

-2(3x - 4)= -6x - 8
-6x + 8 = -6x - 8
Add 6x to both sides;
8 ≠ -8
