A point is mapped under the transformation T : (x, y) → (x + 3, y + 1).

What is the preimage of (4, 3)?

7,4 is the new cordinate
all you have to do is add

[ 4+3, 3+1 ]

The preimage is (1, 2).  This is because 1 + 3 = 4 and 2 + 1 = 3 and that is (4, 3)
