What issues arose when louis XVI callwd the estates general in 1789?

There were three estates, the first estate was for clergy, the second estate was for nobility, and the third estate was for everyone else. The way it was set up, each estate had one vote when voting on different political, economic, etc situations. The first and second estate would always buddy up, and out-vote the third estate, even though the third estate represented the majority of the people. The third estate never got what it wanted. There was probably more problems, that's the only one I remember.
