First you convert 7 5/6 to a improper fraction which will be 47/6 Then you convert 2 3/6 (2 1/2) into a improper fraction which will be 15/6 Finally you add the fractions together. 47+15=62/6 Then you change that into a mixed number which is 10 2/6 or 10 1/3

ANSWER: 10 2/6 or 10 1/3

first you would add 5/6 and 3/6 which would be 8/6. Next you would convert the improper fraction (8/6) into a mixed number which would be 1 2/6. Now just add 7 and 2 which is 9. Finally you would add the whole number and the mixed number. So your answer is 10 2/6 unless the instructions say to simplify then your answer would be 10 1/3.
