Both the fermentation and cellular respiration process includes the same enzyme and the break down of glucose till the pyruvate molecule is same in these process. ATP is produced at the end of the process but the number of ATP varies in both the process.

The fermentation and cellular respiration takes place in the living organisms. Both the process includes the cytoplasm as their site of respiration. The oxidation of NADH to NAD+ occur in both the cellular respiration and fermentation process. The glucose is broken down in both the process.
