The highlands of Central and Northern Asia, are places that are very cruel environments. Because of this, the animals and plants that live in here, have created a very interesting and unique ecosystem where they are highly adapted to survive in this harsh environment. Some of the animals that thrive here are the Siberian tiger, snow leopard, antelopes, sheep, yak, and they all have bigger lungs, wider paws or highly adapted toes, wider nostrils, smaller ears, thick fur, in order to be able to survive in here.
