If you have to add them these means there is no equal sing meaning you dont have to find q just add them and thats it, so add common like terms which are 6q and q and 1 and 11 to get 7q+12

Hope this helps

Answer:

7q+12

Explanation:

We have been given two expressions:
6q+1 and
q+11. We are asked to add our given expressions.

Upon writing our given expressions as addition we will get,

(6q+1)+(q+11)

6q+1+q+11

Let us combine like terms.

(6q+q)+(1+11)

Upon simplifying we will get,

7q+12

Therefore, our expressions simplifies to
7q+12.
