Six school buses were filled and eight students traveled in their own cars. If 104 students were on the trip, how many students were in each school bus?

Since 8 students went in their own vehicle you would subtract 8 from 104. 104-8= 96. Then you would divide 96 by 6 (since there is 6 school buses) and you would get 16. So there would be 16 students on each school bus. I hope this helped!
