−3x+y2÷(−1) when x=8 and y=5

−3x+y^2÷(−1)
= −3(8) +5^2÷(−1)
= -24 - 25
= -49

-3(8) + 2(5) / (-1)
-24 + 10 / (-1)
-14 / -1 = 14
