She finds an equation that models the the number of clicks she has to turn the dial (x) to the television station she ends up on (y): y = 2(1.2599)x. If she turned the dial 25 clicks, what station would she end up on? Does this make sense?

Equation :
y = 2(1.2599)^x

Now we are given that she turned the dial 25 clicks .

So substitute x = 25 in equation.


y = 2(1.2599)^(25)


y =6.34907380148

So, If she turned the dial 25 clicks, she would end up on Station 6.34907380148.

Since for every dial there is an station that has been assigned .

So, for 25 clicks the station is 6.34907380148.

Hence it makes sense.
