Archaebacteria are the oldest organism living on Earth. They are unicellular prokaryotes - microbes without cell nucleus and any other membrane-bound organelles in their cells - and belong to the kingdom, Archaea. Examples of which are psychrophiles, halophiles, methanogens and thermophiles.
