I believe this would be 28 feet. You find this by dividing 7/8 to get the decimal of the fraction. (Which is 0.875) Then multiply by 32 ft to get the answer. Hope this helps!

Answer:

The fish swims 28 feet down.

Explanation:

Givens

  • The fish swims
    (7)/(8) of the depth.
  • The lake is 32 feet deep.

To answer this question, we just need to multiply the fraction that represents the distance traveled by the fish and the total depth of the lake, as follows

(7)/(8) 32ft=28ft

Therefore, the fish swims 28 feet down.
