Ancient Greece has made a great contribution to European and world culture, democracy, architecture and science. Famous schools were studying geometry, physics, mathematics, astronomy, philosophy. Greece is considered a cradle of culture and democracy. There are still preserved imposing architectural structures, one of them certainly is the Parthenon at the Acropolis in Athens, which only means that the ancient Greeks were polytheists.

The answer is: monotheism.
