One of the successes that the South enjoy in the early years of the war is the Battle of Hampton Roads. The battle took place on March 8, 1862, and lasted for several hours, resulting in a tactical draw, in which it flexed the strength of the Confederation navy. I hope my answer has come to your help. God bless and have a nice day ahead!
