The French Indian War ended with the British seizing Quebec from the French. After the war the British began to restructure Quebec, they implemented many reforms to encourage the colony to become more British, however they also gave in to many of Quebec's demands. The Thirteen colonies began to see this as favouritism of Quebec over themselves, this helped created a divide between the American Colonies and their Colonial Masters.
