What is the chemical symbol for dihydrogen monoxide?

I heard from the classmates and they laughed at each other. I can't understand!!

Di means 2
Mono is 1 so you don't really have to write one in a chemical formula so the answer is H2O

dihydrogen monoxide was a hoax created years ago it doesn't exist its often regarded as DHMO but dihydrogen monoxide is just a clever way of saying water dihydrogen meaning 2 hydrogens and monoxide 1 oxygen does elements add up to make H2O
