leading term is the term with the highest power (first term from left to writewhen arranged in decreasing power order)

8x^5 is higher power than 5x^4 (5>4)

so leading term is 5th degree
constant=0 degree (x^0=1)
linear=1st degree (x^1)
quartic=4th degree (x^4)
quintic=5th degree (x^5)

answer would be B
