N english instructor asserted that students' test grades are directly proportional to the amount of time spent studying. lisa studies 6 hr for a particular test and gets a score of 79. at this rate, how many hours would she have had to study to get a score of 92?

You can simply use the cross method, so you will have

x = (92 * 6)/(79) = 6.9
which means she has to study approximately 7 hours to get score of 92.

Hope this helps.
