The energy pyramid below shows the energy made available by producers. based on the energy flow between trophic levels in an energy pyramid, how much energy would be expected to be found at the secondary consumer level in this pyramid?

the answer is 1%

in the trophic level, 10% of energy is being consumed by the consumer so it statrs off as 100 then 10 then 1 then 0.1 then 0.01 and so on

producers = 100%

primary consumers = 10%

secondary consumers = 1%

3rd (omnivores) = 0.1%

4th = 0.01%
