Josh has scores of 16,19 and 23 on three quizzes what score must he get on the next quiz to have an average of at least 20?

20*4=80
The sum of the numbers should be 80.
16+19=35+23=58
80-58=22

The answer is 22.

Hi,
Let the score be x
average=sum of observations/no. of observations
20=16+19+23+x/4
20=58+x/4
20*4=58+x
80=58+x
80-58=x
x=80-58
x=22
To get at least 20, he should at least score 22 in his next quiz.
