She definitely used pathos.
There are three rhetorical appeals, and those are ethos, logos, and pathos. Ethos refers to using evidence; logos refers to using logic; pathos refers to using emotions. Nadine is trying to appeal to her audience's emotions, which can be only done through the use of pathos, or the emotional appeal of rhetoric.
