The freedom to talk and to express themselves will encourage children to discuss incidents and discrimination clearly and openly. Sometimes, children have questions and doubts, and they do not feel comfortable asking an adult about it. This means that they ca nreach the wrong conclusions based on the information that other less reliable sources gives them. By encouraging children to talk they are less likely to act from a place of ignorance.
