Volume of the cone is given by:
V= (πr²h)/3
use: π=3.14
50 cu units = ((3.14)(4)²h)/3

h = 50 / (50.24/3)
h = 2.98 units

The formula for solving the volume of a cone (right circular cone) requires the height.

Given that the problem provided you with all variables except only the height, the height can be solved using the formula for solving the volume of a cone

Vcone = 1/3*(Base Area x Height)
Note : Base area is equal to a circle therefore Base area = πr²

Substituting into the formula we have
Vcone = 1/3* (πr² * h)
50 cu units = 1/3 * (16π *h)
h = 50 / (16π/3)
h = 2.99 units
