y=2x^2-4\ \ \ |+4\\\\2x^2=y+4\ \ \ |:2\\\\x^2=(y+4)/(2)\\\\x=\sqrt{(y+4)/(2)}

y^(-1)=\sqrt{(x+4)/(2)}=(√(x+4))/(\sqrt2)=(√(2(x+4)))/(2)=(√(2x+8))/(2)
