Hello!

To find the first quartile you first have to find the median

6, 7, 15,36, 41, 43, 47, 49

The medians are 36 and 41

You take the average of these number

36+ 41 = 77

77 / 2 = 38.5

The median is 38.5

To find the first quartile you find the median of the numbers less than the median

List the numbers less than 38.5

6, 7, 15, 36

The medians are 7 and 15

Take the average to get the median

7 + 15 = 22

22 / 2 = 11

The First quartile is 11

The answer is 11

Hope this helps!
