Wilson’s 14 points called for Poland’s independence.

Besides giving them independence, Wilson wanted to ensure that Poland had freedom of the seas and that they would not have to worry about being taken over by another country. Wilson hoped to develop an international agreement in order to ensure their sovereignty.
