The answer is demonstrating the latency stage of psychosexual development. The latency stage which is 5 or 6 to puberty with no further psychosexual development takes place throughout this stage in which latent means are hidden. Freud alleged that maximum sexual instincts are inhibited for the duration of the latent stage and sexual energy can be transferred concerning school work, leisure pursuit and relationships.
