Equation:

p^2+q^2=1.0 p^2+2pq+q^2=1.0

q^2=.25
p^2+.25=1.0
p^2=.75
.75 x 500

p^2 =375 are homozygous dominant

square root of .75 = .87
square root of .25 =.5
2(.87)(.5)
.87 .87 X 500 =435 are heterozygous
