The answer is Abuja. In December 1991, Abuja replaced Lagos as the capital of Nigeria. It is located in a central place, with easy access and a good climate. It is the best planned city in Africa, it is the headquarters of the Economic Community of West African states and the regional headquarters of the Organization of oil-exporting countries.
