10x^2-56=88-6x^2
Solving for x^2:
10x^2-56+56+6x^2=88-6x^2+56+6x^2
16x^2=144
Dividing both sides bt 16:
16x^2/16=144/16
x^2=9
Solving for x:
sqrt(x^2)=+-sqrt(9)
x=+-3
Answer: The
values of x are solutions to the given equation are x = - 3 and x=3
