0.7(3x − 0.2) = 0.3( 0.8 − 2x)

Distribute 0.7 and 0.3:
2.1x - 0.14 = 0.24 - 0.6x

Add 0.14 and 0.6x on both sides:
2.1x + 0.6x = 0.24 + 0.14

Combine like terms:
2.7x = 0.38

Divide by 2.7 on both sides:
x = 0.14 (nearest hundredth)

Answer: x = 0.14
