Molar mass HgO is 216.59 g/mol
Molar mass of O2 is 32.00 g/mol
250.0 g of O2
Required: Moles of HgO
Balanced equation is:
2HgO → 2Hg+ O2
250g O2(1 mole O2/32.00 g/mol O2)(2 moles HgO/1 mol O2) = 15.63 moles HgO
