Answer: Initial decay

The eyes become cloudy after two hours of death or in the initial postmortem decomposition. After death, the pressure in the eyes start to decrease and there are no reflexes of the pupils to light and the cornea loses its reflex eventually. When corneal reflexes are absent, the cornea gradually becomes cloudy.
