Many of the reasons are for revenge because someone felt wronged. Even mentioned in the list is a CeaseFire colleague who wants to get even for the beating of his two sons. This shows that the desire to pull out a gun is not held by only a small group of individuals. It also shows the importance of this group and it's efforts to mediate disputes.
