Casey ran for 4 days. 1 and 1/4 is equal to 5/4, 1/2 is the same as 2/4. Then 5/4 less 2/4 = 3/4. Since she runs an additional 1/4 each day, she ran for 3 days after the first 1/2 mike.

Day 1. 1/2
Day 2. 3/4
Day 3. 1
Day 4. 1 1/4
