Not really sure of what you wanted but here goes...

Answer: .6=6/10 in fraction form.


Explanation: Decimals have decimal places, for example;

.
x = a number in the tenths place, so if it were in the tenth's place, it would be out of ten like this;
x/10.

However, if there is a number say beyond that to the left, it would be in the hundredth's place (.
xy). In that case, you would put the two numbers out of 100 (
xy/100).

Beyond the tenths and hundredths places, there are the thousandths, ten-thousandths, ans millionths. Keep in mind, that the farther away from the point you go from the left, the amount/value gets smaller and smaller.

This is what it is asking. There can be also other numbers above. These are just the basic numbers for tenths.
